Wellness Together Canada was funded by Health Canada and delivered in partnership by Homewood Health, Kids Help Phone, and Stepped Care Solutions as the first and only national, publicly funded virtual mental health and substance use support service in the country. 

Homewood Health is national mental health and addictions leader providing a comprehensive stepped-care continuum of support services available to individuals and organizations across the country. These services are delivered virtually, in-person and through its nationally recognized treatment facilities: Homewood Health Centre, Homewood Ravensview, and The Residence at Homewood.Through Wellness Together Canada, Homewood Health provided 24/7 professional counselling services over the phone.

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, multilingual and confidential support to young people. As the country’s virtual care expert for 35 years, they give millions of youth a safe, trusted space to Feel Out Loud over the phone, through text, or in self-directed supports for any moment of crisis or need. Through Wellness Together Canada, Kids Help Phone provided professional phone counselling to youth, crisis texting support to people of all ages as well as curated website content for young people.

Stepped Care Solutions is a not-for-profit organization that supports governments, communities and institutions in transforming their  systems to  provide flexible and high-quality mental health and substance use health services. As the lead administrative partner for Wellness Together Canada, Stepped Care Solutions oversaw all aspects of the development, delivery and continuous improvement of the technology and services.
